Over a nearly 40-year career, I have helped some of the world's leading companies reach their marketing goals by solving difficult marketing communications problems. Playing a number of key roles, including marketing strategy development, concept and campaign development, creative direction, copywriting (as lead writer) and print production supervision for broadcast advertising, direct mail promotions, collateral materials and development of brand identities. In addition, I supervised art directors and illustrators, as well as providing art direction for several campaigns myself. Accounts included DuPont, Eastman Kodak, General Electric, Blockbuster Video, Pfizer, Anhueser Busch and many others. Today I use that experience to help direct clients and advertising agencies through my own marketing communications firm, Potter Communications.
