I am Donna Lourd Gadia -- a highly energetic, friendly, and fun individual.
I have been working as a freelance virtual assistant and bookkeeper for more than 15 years. I've worked on different projects from employers in the US, in Canada, in Australia, and in the UK. I work from home and all my tasks are purely online. I have been a freelancer for more than 15 years now and have done virtual assistant and bookkeeping tasks. I have about five years of experience in bookkeeping. I know how to use QBO, Xero, MYOB, and a few other cloud accounting platforms, and I am familiar with most bookkeeping tasks like bank reconciliations, collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, stuff about financial statements and general ledger, and a few others.
I am very good at utilizing cloud storage like Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google Drive.
From August 2011 to May 2012, I worked as a Virtual Assistant for an Australian client, who is a Marketing Coach Expert. I helped with his WordPress site (creating pages and posting blogs), in setting up appointments for him and his prospective Joint Venture partners, and with some other tasks.
A couple of years before working for that Australian employer, I worked as an English teacher in an English academy for Koreans and other Asians. In the same academy, I worked as a Head Teacher for a month -- handling teacher applications, placement tests for students, payroll, and other administrative duties.
Prior to my job at the English academy, I worked as a Communication and Culture Trainer, but for a long time before working in the corporate world, I worked as a Private Tutor, a Math Teacher, and a Pre-school Teacher. I have interacted with students of different levels, from different schools, and of different nationalities (Koreans, Germans, Filipinos, and Americans).
I used to own and manage my personal blog site, in which I was also the content writer. I am familiar with working on HTML and CSS codes, resizing, cropping, and editing images... and other stuff related to image editing and working on the back-end (admin) of a site.
I have a good command of English and can freely express myself using the language. I can also speak, read, write, and understand a bit of French, as I study it almost daily.
I believe I would be a good fit for this position because I have already developed a wide variety of skills over the years that I have been working as a virtual assistant and bookkeeper.
