 EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Flexitot Industries Durban, KZN Employment Contract 17th May 2020 – Current I am currently working for a bottle store in Durban, KZN. My main responsibilities include administration and finance, customer service, stock control, cash up and invoicing, and day to day running of the shop. I enjoy working here but feel my real talents in Administration are not being used to their full potential. Clothing Junction Durban, KZN Employment Contract 20th July 2020 – 14th May 2021 I worked at Clothing Junction managing their online website for ten months. My main responsibilities included dealing with and responding to all customer queries, uploading new products to the website via CSV files, stock control, managing the logistics, all administration involved, managing the social media and marketing, managing the product photoshoots, and reporting on the performance and targets weekly. I got the chance to learn about a new industry and the challenges that come with it. I was given a lot of responsibility and was able to grow tremendously. I decided to leave Clothing Junction after much thought, as I didn’t feel I was a good fit for the company. Smart Opportunities Drummond, KZN Employment Contract 10th September 2018 – 28th February 2020 Smart Opportunities is a company founded by Dean Harding, whereby they purchase & manage franchise stores. I worked within the business at two of the stores. My role as administration manager entailed managing of the two stores, managing the staff, doing all the administration on sage one, loading of the salaries on sage payroll, managing the stock and transferring between the two stores, and doing all the ordering for both stores. I learnt a great deal over the year and a half I worked there, and it has been valuable work experience. I left in February 2020 to pursue a career overseas yachting, but unfortunately was unable to travel due to Covid19. Have You Heard Marketing Agency Woodstock, Cape Town Internship 1st September 2017 – 19th November 2017 Employment Contract 4th January 2018 – 14th August 2018 My time at Have You Heard was very influential. I learnt a lot from my co-workers and gained valuable experience. My main responsibilities included doing general administration, sourcing of suppliers, researching, sitting in creative brainstorms, assisting the influencer department create profiles, presenting, creating presentations, assisting my HR manager with tasks, managing artists, finance, onsite managing, and set up and break down at the events. Some of the events I have assisted and worked at include Rocking the Daisies, Ultra, Jameson Cult Film Club, and the Sun Met. Another essential skill I picked up from Have You Heard is working on Chase Software, of which I am familiar with. I decided to leave Have You Heard and move back to Durban where my family currently lives.
