For 17 years, I have been employed in different private companies as part of Accounting department. My 13 years of experience was from JTC Group of companies, I started as store accountant whose primary task is bookkeeping using Quickbooks, preparation of financial statements, Financial analysis, Payroll, Bank Reconciliation, Physical counting of inventory, Cash Position Reports, Financial Budgeting, Business Planning and other reportorial requirements by different government agencies. After four years, I was promoted as Senior Tax Accountant, responsible in preparation of Financial Statements for regulatory compliance, task to register new companies to SEC, BIR and LGU. Responsible to negotiate with the BIR examiner tax audit findings and preparation of supporting documents (eg: worksheets, lapsing of assets, summary of purchases, etc.) Before I was promoted as Accounting Supervisor, I received a certificate of recognition in getting high scores in the examination given to us by our finance manager. On August 12, 2011, I was promoted as Accounting supervisor and by this time, we shifted from Quickbooks to SAP. I was assigned to be a business process owner for FICO module. My responsibilities as supervisor are monitoring policies and procedures if properly carried out, communicates the new rules and policies of the company to my staffs, prepares Admin (confidential) payroll, assist staffs in analyzing journal entries, monitors regulatory compliances, monitors GL accounts, processing of claims from insurance and other tasks that my finance manager would assign to me.
