After graduating with a BS in Marketing and Economics, I worked in the financial services industry for six years. I advanced to a position of leadership, overseeing teams of financial accountants to deliver comprehensive accounting services for mutual funds. We priced funds daily and prepared financial reports published semi-annually for shareholders. In January 2000, I was offered an opportunity to join a startup in the K-12 EdTech sector. Not having much knowledge or experience, I took the opportunity and never looked back. I joined Frontline Data (now Frontline Education) as the first employee and led our customer support and implementation teams during a period of intense growth, from 2 local customers to more than 4,500 across North America in less than 2 years. Since that time, I have worked with more than a few technology companies, some SaaS, some B2B, B2C, B2B2C. I've worked with local teams, co-located teams, fully remote teams, and teams with a global presence.
I was blessed with the opportunity to lead the digital product and project management team with American Bible Society during a particularly challenging period. I led the team for just over a year before the decision was made to scrap the digital team entirely and re-focus on what they have been doing for more than 200 years, translating, printing, and distributing Bibles.
After this time, I started my own business offering my skills and experience in software product and project management, and have been privileged to work with many fantastic clients, which you can read more about on my website, www.bohs.us. I love to help clients bring ideas to life!
