Dean Stowell

My name is Dean Stowell and for the last 13 years, I've dedicated my professional life to 2 things; software testing and audio production, usually working software testing during the day and audio production during the night.

In software testing, I have extensive experience in both black box and white box testing as well as having 10 years experience writing test automation for many different platforms such as Web Applications, Windows, Mac, and Android. Throughout the years, I have also learned to do API Testing using Postman and SoapUi Pro. On top of that, I have setup CI automation pipelines across multiple platforms such as Teamcity, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins. Lastly, I have about 5 years experience as a test lead, writing test plans, test cases and ensuring project testing gets finished on time and up to standards.

In Audio Production, I have extensive experience in mixing, mastering, and recording. On top of that, I also have a lot of experience creating instrumentals and songwriting. I've spent a lot of time initially shadowing a more experienced producer until moving onto my own. Over the last few years, most of my time musically has been making beats, mixing/mastering my own stuff, primarily working with Reason, Cubase and Pro Tools.
