Working for the State of California, over the past 12 years, I've been an IT Manager over Customer Support Services, Enterprise Services, and Data Center & Server Operations, with the following successes:

• Managed Client Support and Server Operations Teams with annual budgets of up to 15 million dollars.
• Managed as many as nine projects at once with budgets in excess of 4 million dollars.
• Developed, implemented, and facilitated continuous improvement programs.
• Mentored and trained staff in problem-solving techniques and effective communications.
• Worked closely with consultants and vendors on the implementation of a 25-million-dollar, multi-site Electronic Health Records Project with Cerner Corporation.
• Consulted with vendors and senior technical staff to construct a data center backup and archive solution.
• Project-Managed Telehealth Project for 6 months prior to a contractor coming on board to take over the project. One-third of all healthcare encounters for the California prison population is completed through our Telehealth system.
• Remotely managed the operations side of a two-year, multi-million-dollar, multi-site Pharmacy Implementation project.
• Worked with clients to analyze computing and network needs and installed appropriate solutions within the Project Budget.
• Performed second-level support for all project-related workstation and network systems.
• Served as a systems analysis, providing technical support and training for multi-site projects.
• Evaluated project plans and recommend adjustments based on a complete review of objectives and related documentation.
• Created Technical Documents, Workflow Diagrams, and Policies, Processes, and Procedures for several multi-site projects.
