David Han's Sarmiento

I am David Han Sarmiento, an aspiring IT professional with a solid background in information technology, cybersecurity, and business development. With a strong academic foundation and extensive hands-on experience, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to every opportunity I take on.

My academic journey has equipped me with in-depth knowledge in areas such as programming, cybersecurity, information security, project management, and information systems. Throughout my studies, I’ve consistently maintained academic excellence, recognized as a Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) RISE Merit Scholar—a testament to my commitment to excellence and growth in the IT field.

Professionally, I currently serve as a Business Development Manager and Computer Specialist at Horizon Tech Solutions, where I play a dual role. On the business side, I lead strategic planning, client acquisition, and relationship management—contributing to expanded market reach and increased customer satisfaction. On the technical side, I provide hands-on IT support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting services, ensuring operational efficiency and seamless tech performance across the organization.

My skill set is reinforced by several globally recognized certifications, including Google Cybersecurity, Google IT Support, Google Data Analytics, Google AI Essentials, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, and Intuit Academy Bookkeeping. These credentials reflect my versatility and passion for staying at the forefront of technology and digital solutions.

In addition to my professional and academic accomplishments, I am deeply engaged in the tech community. I currently serve as President of the IT Department, where I lead student initiatives and act as a liaison between students and faculty. I also hold leadership roles as a Google Student Developer Club Representative and Microsoft Student Ambassador, organizing tech events, mentoring peers, and fostering collaboration within the student tech ecosystem.

With strong skills in Python, C++, SQL, and a growing knowledge of multiple languages including English, Japanese, Danish, and French, I am well-prepared to operate in diverse, dynamic environments. My interests in business conferences, workshops, and continuous learning further fuel my motivation to grow both personally and professionally.
