Hi, I'm Daniel, a petroleum engineer and experienced translator (English-Spanish) from Venezuela.
I've been good at English since I was a kid, thanks to videogames and other content I found interesting. In my spare time during college, I volunteered as a translator for open source projects, most notably at Mozilla's Spanish localization team. I became an important member of that team until I ended up as a coordinator for a while, mentoring new volunteers and managing several different projects. I had to leave a few months later because the atmosphere within the organization didn't feel the same and I didn't have quite enough spare time.
I started doing freelance work on online platforms, translating inspirational books, novels, a couple videogames (most notably Steel Division: Normandy 44), apps and apps listings, websites, technical articles, and much more.
