I am Cynthia Liebenberg-Botha, a results-driven Learning and Development (L&D) professional with nearly three decades of progressive experience in corporate training, SAP Learning Management Systems (LMS), and organizational development at Sasol, one of South Africa’s leading energy and chemical companies. Throughout my career, I’ve built a reputation for designing and delivering impactful learning strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable performance improvement.
As a Regional SAP LMS Super User and L&D Super User, I’ve led large-scale learning implementations and end-user training rollouts across operational teams. I possess in-depth knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and e-learning tools. I’m proficient in SCORM-compliant content creation, LMS configuration and administration, training needs analysis, and blended learning facilitation. My recent qualification in Digital Transformation Strategy from UCT’s Graduate School of Business underscores my commitment to staying ahead of evolving learning technologies and trends.
Beyond technical expertise, I bring exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, having mentored junior trainers, collaborated with cross-functional departments, and facilitated L&D forums that promote continuous feedback and professional development. I’ve worked closely with subject matter experts, HR leaders, and IT teams to integrate learning systems, improve data accuracy, and align training with strategic workforce planning.
I’m proud of my ability to translate complex systems and workflows—such as SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, and IBP—into engaging, accessible training for learners at all levels. From developing onboarding programs and job aids to analyzing post-training data for insights, I bring a data-informed and people-focused approach to L&D.
I thrive in environments that value learning as a lever for business growth, and I am energized by opportunities to lead change, empower talent, and optimize learning operations. With strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills, I am well-equipped to support global teams—whether in-person or remotely.
Now seeking my next opportunity to contribute, I’m open to L&D leadership, SAP LMS, or training consultancy roles—particularly in innovative, people-first organizations that recognize the power of upskilling, digital enablement, and operational excellence.
