Main activities and Main focus points: planning &tracking, schedule, budget, customer negotiation. responsibilities 2015 – 2021 October Technical Project Leader and Product Architect (Continental Automotive BU VNI HMI) As a Technical Project Leader, I have had the responsibility for leading the development of the overall RnD of complete products. Leading Hardware, Software, Functional Test, Mechanical, Display Technology and System Engineering teams Leading the development of complete products, from the acquisition/quotation phase until start of production. For series projects I have led several product optimization activities, through redesign to cost. Period Role Main activities and Responsibilities As a Product Architect I developed analog clusters, digital clusters, secondary displays and silverbox (basically an onboard computer with cluster and radio functionalities). I was tasked with analyzing the customer requirements and finding the best solution in the BU HMI portfolio which would match the customer needs and be competitive from price perspective. Intensive discussions with the customer for possible technical solutions for hardware, software and mechanics. As an architect, I was leading a team composed of electrical, mechanical and software architects. 2009 ~ 2015 Hardware engineer (Continental Automotive BU ICV) As a hardware engineer the main focus was the development of products from hardware perspective. Based on customer requirements, I was responsible for testing and design of digital tachographs, testing and designing of tolling and telemetric units from electrical perspective. Design electronic circuits considering the automotive standards. Draw schematic using specific tools (Zuken CR5000), simulate electronics circuits using LT Spice and Orcad, calculate worse case situations using Mathcad. Owner of BOM generation from the schematics I designed, searching for the best priced components to reach a competitive BOM. Design and execute specific hardware tests on different product types. Offer support for verification/validation and software departments in testing and implementing of their software and tests. Offer support for production of products that I am responsible for designing. Period Role Within my last project, I was the hardware architect in charge of designing the Main activities and main functionalities of a tolling and telematics unit.
