Cintia Marisel Levy

My name is Cintia Levy and I am a certified Translator with a Degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata.I have been working as Certified Freelance Translator for the past six years, although I have also worked as Spanish Medical Interpreter from 2006 until 2012 for Language Line Services. I believe that the skills and experiences I have gained at this position make me an ideal candidate.

As freelance translator, I have developed strong translation, editing, localization and proofreading skills applied to texts from different fields, such as GE, ESSET, Pfizer, Telefónica, John Deere, Veeam, L'OREAL, RIMMEL, Amazon, Google, ABECEB, APR Energy, AMEX, Kaspersky, Fluke, EBay, BOSCH, Bayer, Sony, Nintendo, Department of Education of NYC, among many others.

I am also confident transcribing audio from Spanish and English and I have experience in Machine Translation post-editing.

This duty requires meticulous translation and editing skills, and an ability to convey complex ideas with technical language clearly from English into Spanish or Spanish into English. Since 2012 I have never stopped working in the translation field.

I have also gained extensive experience in the Medical and Healthcare field when I was trained by Language Services Associates to become a Medical Interpreter, and used to take calls from several medical facilities and hospitals located in the U.S. The medical and healthcare area is what I like the most. I enjoy translating user´s manuals for medical devices, research papers, protocols, journal articles or reviews. I also worked for several Translation agencies based in Argentina and in the US. I am confident that my experience in translation and my research and writing skills qualify me for consideration.

I am extremely responsible, respect deadlines and give my best in every project I embark on. I also enjoy working in groups when projects are large and have to be divided into a couple of translators.
