Cindy Brandle

I am a professional modern dance artist, serving as the Artistic Director and primary choreographer for my company, Cindy Brandle Dance Company. With my dance and performing arts background, I bring a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the creative world.

I am an enthusiastic fan of performing arts, musical theatre, and theatrical plays. 

From 2012 to 2016, I had the privilege of serving as the Performing Arts Contributor to the now-defunct Examiner.com in Denver, CO. This experience allowed me to hone my skills in arts journalism and provided me with valuable insights into the industry.

Since relocating to NYC in October 2021, I embarked on a new venture by starting a blog called "56AndTheCity." Through this platform, I chronicle my adventures navigating this vibrant and relentless city as a woman in her fifties and an artist. It has been a rewarding experience to share my insights, observations, and personal anecdotes with my readers.

I share my life with my husband, daughter, and our exceedingly cute Shih Tzu!
