I am a detail-oriented person with 7+ years of customer service experience; 6+ years proofreading, editing, and writing procedural instructions and email templates; 6+ years of data entry and database work; and 8+ years of proofreading phone book pages and advertisements.
My current position at an independent phonebook publisher includes mainly data entry, proofreading, and copy writing and editing. I am also involved in research in order to update information pages. I can understand and follow directions, so documents and advertisements are entered, proofed, and edited to given specifications.
In a previous position, I worked to organize, update, and make documents and information easy to find and accessible. I also processed many internal and external purchase orders and kept track of ongoing projects through spreadsheets.
Additionally, I have over 7 years of experience in Customer Service assisting a wide variety of customers for multiple websites. Many of my previous positions have included tasks such as filing, data entry, organizing, multi-line phones, and heavy use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
I have experience working from home as a Medical Transcriptionist and at my current company I have done some remote work (during COVID and previously as well).
