Component/Project Coordinator Sept 2016 – June 2018 Citizen Security & Justice Programme, Department of Labour Component A major Inter-American Development Bank-designed and monitored government programme designed to reduce violent crime rates through social prevention programmes and infrastructural upgrades in key areas.  Responsible for leading the second component of the loan programme designed to get at-risk young adult populations to meet labour market needs through training and job assistance programs;  Managed and allocated a 4.2 million dollar project budget to ensure compliance with loan agreements and spending and deliverable schedules;  Led the creation of the component’s strategic plans and operational manuals, project management schedule, formal project management documents (work authorizations, issue, change and risk management plans, GANNT charts, etc.), mitigation strategies, and contingency plans;  Organized and led meetings related to the Labour component of the loan, and served as the main liaison between the Ministry of National Security, Department of Labour, the Project Implementation Unit, and the Inter-American Development Bank. ACHIEVEMENTS  Led the achievement of key deliverables leading to the most progress made (as measured by deliverable acceptance and KPIs) on any component of the loan, helping the project to avoid delay and spending based alerts;  Successfully created the strategic operational plan and budget ensuring that a blueprint was put in place to achieve all project objectives;  Spearheaded the upgrades to the Electronic Labour Environment and Public Employment Services significantly expanding the government’s ability to assist jobseekers;  Delivered project deliverables on-time and under-budget;  Served as acting Communications Manager/Specialist for a period of a year in addition to contracted responsibilities. Training Programme Consultant Jan 2017 – June 2018 Citizen Security & Justice Programme, Department of Labour  Responsible for ensuring that all training activities were implemented according to best practices and project guidelines, including requirements for evidence-based andragogy;  Assisted with the launch of the first-ever National Training Agency at-risk youth training cohort, providing technical advice and assistance with technical documents. ACHIEVEMENTS  Successfully guided the first at-risk youth training cohorts, which resulted in over 90% positive feedback from trainees and trainers and a nearly 50% job placement rate;  Ensured 100% compliance with all project deliverables as per the loan agreement. Academic Coordinator Jan 2016 – June 2016 YouthBuild Bahamas The pilot programme demonstrating the viability of YouthBuild International’s training model (one of the largest youth-based NGO’s in the world) within a local context;  Executed the academic component as a sub-project within the program and supervised all activities and personnel, including all instruction, assessment, and reporting. ACHIEVEMENTS  Delivered positive average outcomes for students while adhering to the execution schedule and budget. Training Program Consultant Jan 2017 – June 2018 YouthBuild International   Responsible for designing the entire academic curriculum in Literacy and Numeracy skills from the ground up with an emphasis on blended learning, team-based learning, and experiential learning, inclusive of real world application for 18 to 30 year olds. ACHIEVEMENTS Successfully created a comprehensive academic curriculum, project schedule, and budget.
