As an accountant, I quickly picked up all the regulatory processes and requirements to complete financial statements and keep up with all bookkeeping assignments, but the real excitement occurred when I compiled all my personal notes into a step by step guide that would soon be used to train accountants hired after me. However, my main role was that of kitchen platoon leader. Our team would feed the unit during trainings and would prepare any catering necessary for special trainings. The culture of our team was one of great teamwork and diligence. We all pitched in from beginning to end and helped one another in all duties assigned inside and outside of the kitchen.
