Carlos Sarmiento is an international development professional with a strong administrative background and a deep commitment to human rights and international protection. As a project manager for USAID, Department of State, and Department of Labor programs, he has contributed to stabilization efforts, organizational development, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) initiatives across the LAC and MENA regions. Mr. Sarmiento holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Florida International University and a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has intermediate proficiency in Portuguese.
