I began my BPO journey as an outbound telemarketer for Med-Alert. We reach out to customers to offer our product, which is a medical device that they can use to summon assistance in emergencies. Due to a lack of leads, the account sadly only lasted three months. We were then transitioned to UK Survey. The account offers a no-cost inspection for house restoration or renovation. I quit after being given the chance to work at Sitel where I was assigned to a financial account, GreenDot. We assist clients with their billing questions regarding their prepaid debit cards. We also handle account activation and verification. After a year, I was trained to be a dispute specialist. I left Sitel after giving birth to my daughter due to childcare. After almost two years, I reapplied to the same company and was given the chance to be a part of a pioneering account, which was DirectTV. After a few years, I made a hard decision to leave the company because Concentrix made a better offer. Here I was profiled for a business-to-business account, Iron Mountain. We are a storage facility that offers service throughout the United States. We interact with the delivery staff and respond to both phone and email questions from clients. After six months, I decided to go in a different direction and attempt to work from home. This was also around the time when the pandemic hit.
I was lucky enough to find a client and obtained a job with a Maryland-based HVAC business. We call prospective customers to promote our product and provide an assessment of their current unit. After this, I was hired by Go2 and assigned to Wingman Pest Control. Originally, I was hired to do outbound sales calls to potential commercial clients since the company was looking for ways to expand its business, but after three months, I was offered the role of customer support specialist. I answer both phone and email inquiries from clients and provide them with estimates for our service. I also schedule services by creating service tickets and routing. During my downtime, I also do follow-up calls and create and send out marketing emails. For a couple of months, I also handled their social media accounts, posting weekly updates on the company page. Sadly, due to the recession, they had to let me go.
All in all, I have had more than ten years of experience with various accounts and businesses. I have handled multiple tools and have worked with hundreds of people throughout the years. I learn fast and work diligently. I have a keen eye for detail and work well with others.
