PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I am currently working as the Supply chain Manager for Silverstone Tyres (K) Ltd f reporting
directly to the Director of the company. My previous position was Logistics Supervisor having
been promoted from the customer care representative. The first job experience acquired was in
Kenya Creameries Limited (New KCC) for 3 months in 2012.
At the moment my work entails as indicated below:

July 2014-To date
In charge of the stock in the 12 warehouses located in Mombasa, Nairobi and Eldoret
Responsible for stock holding position in all the remote warehouses and continued
communication with the warehouse providers in regards to service provision aligns with
the agreed contracts
Implementing the stock cover policy and ensure the physical count matches with the
system stock count and supervise that proper documentation is issued when the goods are
being removed from the warehouse
Source for stock insurance in all the warehouse
Responsible for clearing and forwarding process
Ensure stock is cleared at port in line with the Government regulations and Market
standards Eg Provide the COC, verify the amounts before entry is registered
Negotiate and ensure the best prices are provided by the forwarders and service
providers and local suppliers
Market Demand planning where I am responsible for forecasting orders in line with the
stock policy and facilitate movement of stock between the Mombasa and Nairobi
warehouse
Placing timely orders with the suppliers and follow through to ensure they have shipped
with the correct documentation and within the correct timeline.
Providing the costing for the items for resale and advise on the sell out prices of products
