I have been working as a virtual assistant since 2013. Over the period of time, I have managed to work

After VirtualeServe closed business, Gaurav Gupta & I decided to stick to the industry. Our first project
was a client from UK who had started a company to analyze user experience. I was hired to plan marketing
and Plot Company’s position in the market.
Then we also got to work with a Social Media Coach from Canada. Assisting her was like being in the
laboratory. She had some set strategies for various clients she was working with and we were advised

on tools to use to achieve goals. Her constant guidance and our ideas made some of her clients really
happy with the end results. We optimized websites, promoted services on social media, re-purposed and
optimized article and wrote fresh content for blogs and websites.
Then we got a chance to work with a dynamic entrepreneur, it was a new challenge with him every day.
Learned a lot from him too! He always had a project on which we did not have much experience. But to be
able to deliver, we researched, learnt and worked.
Then we worked for almost 2 years for an entrepreneur and promoter from US. We started with his
Online Hiring portal, optimizing website and managing social media. With assistance from our Social
Media coach, we were able to increase traffic and reduce bounce rate though just on-site optimization.
While working on his website, we also got an opportunity to design website for him and his friends.
Through Elance.com (now Upwork.com), we landed a project with a performance coach from UK. I was
hired as a personal assistant. Checking in flights, assisting team, designing and delivering marketing
content, designing pages on Kajabi and other platforms, entering details and updating InfusionSoft,
managing emails, assisting design team, it was all part of the day.
In the middle of all this, we even got to write articles for websites, blogs and products.I have assisted
property managers, agents and appraisers in team management, back office operations, social media
marketing & ad posting.

Working for a Non-profit is enriching and I am lucky to have bagged that opportunity. Helping the
organization manage circuits of artistes visiting Dehradun helped me gain firsthand experience in
managing celebrities, musical events and venues. Every circuit was challenge in terms of artistes
management, lightening, sound, stage, audience management.
Spicmacay events were not like usual social events. Because they were aimed at educational institutes,
it was necessary to know how to deal with management of reputed institutions, managing students –
both kids & budding professionals. The vast knowledge imparted by artistes during the visits made it an
enriching experience. I also got to design posters on Picasa & Photoshop and write press releases.

was lucky to get chance to learn all that while I was still in temple of learning, school & college.
During school, I get a chance to organize a musical concert to raise awareness and funds for a NGO, India
Vision Foundation. With guidance from our mentor and innovative & hard working fellow interns, we
organized, what was termed as the first ever successful musical concert in the city of Dehradun. We
weren’t able to acquire sponsors, but we were able to raise funds and spread awareness. All with some
cool bands and solo performers.
Moving into the college in Delhi, it was not just a few performers and a small crowd. It was about
prestige. In college, I got to design sponsorship packages, approach companies to support cultural events,

team made all the events a great success and fortunately, we were able to start a trend in our college.
During college, I was part of Economic Cultural Festival & College cultural festival. Those sleepless nights
and roaming around the city in bus and auto richshaws , got me ready for the challenges to come in life.
