VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
Volunteered with Touching Lives Africa Foundation in 2016, we assisted children mostly orphans and
financially dis-advantaged by raising funds for tuition fees, school stationery and clothing. Also assisted the
girl child with sanitary wear so that they do not miss school days due to lack of proper sanitary wear.
FUNCTIONAL AREAS
Credit analysis - Using the CAMPARI and 5 C’s of credit models to assess and recommend loan applications
to the Branch, Management or Board credit Committees. Approve loan cases circulated in the Branch credit
committee. Highly analytical individual skilled in Financial statements analysis and interpretation.
Delinquency management – following the delinquency management process according to the company
policy, plan course of action to recover outstanding amounts from clients and negotiate payment plans.
Ensuring Colleteral/ security perfection of pledged assets by loans officers, liaising with company lawyers
during the loan recovery process, delivering and filing demand letters. Proposing loan restructures to the
Branch and management credit committee. Portfolio administration and reporting of overdue accounts.
Research and product development - responsible for product development to suit the needs of clients.
Researching on the market and market trends is done on a regular basis to best understand the region and
potential clients, thus coming up with financial products and services which meet their financial needs.
Business development and strategic partnerships - undertake business developments initiatives. In one
of my roles, managed to grow the loan book in a new area for my business unit and build various
relationships with my networking skills. Building and maintaining partnerships which will help customers
grow socially and economically with companies, NGOs, merchant agents etc. Cross-selling the group
products has increased my knowledge in the fields of insurance, life assurance, retail banking and
multiple investment products.
Relationship and key account management - form relationships with potential clients and manage
these relationships to ensure repeat business, lasting relations and customer retention. Trainings and
offering advisory services and business support to clients is done on an on-going basis to cultivate the
entrepreneurial spirit.
Office Administration – managing office correspondence, filing and maintaining data integrity,
managing office supplies, on-boarding of clients (checking all KYC documents) , opening current and
savings accounts for clients, processing client requests and communicating these with the appropriate
departments. My duties also entailed preparing and verifying disbursement documents and offer
