Andre Augusto Vieira Lisboa

I was born in Lages, Santa Catarina, and for over 26 years, I have been working as a translator and interpreter.

As an interpreter, I've worked alongside the legendary singer Glenn Hughes, formerly of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. I've also had the opportunity to assist companies like Souza Cruz, SWAT Los Angeles Police Department, Rotary Club, Omex, and Banco da Família.

Throughout my career, I've served as a language teacher and pedagogical coordinator in various language schools. To ensure my professional growth, I've sought continuous improvement by attending esteemed institutions such as Pearson, Cambridge, the International Business Management Institute of Berlin, Harvard, and others. I am proud to hold a TEFL/TESOL certification and have achieved C2 proficiency in English.

One of my notable achievements is the development of my own language teaching method, which received recognition from the Brazilian Ministry of Education. This method was implemented successfully in several municipal schools in Santa Catarina for many years.

I've also ventured into the realm of writing and authored the book "How to Become a Successful Translator." It has gained tremendous popularity and is now in its third edition. The book is featured on Proz and was published by Editora Viseu, reaching readers in Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and the United States.

I am engaged in various creative endeavors. I work as a translator, interpreter, copywriter, proofreader, subtitler, web writer, author, narrator, audio producer, composer, and professional musician. This multifaceted career allows me to explore my passions and utilize my diverse skill set.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of providing translation and linguistic consulting services to esteemed companies such as LG, Google, Amazon, Samsung, Mercado Livre, CBS, Meliá Hotels International, Phillips, Facebook, GoDaddy, Maserati, and many others. I am proud to collaborate with over 120 translation agencies worldwide, further expanding my professional network.

Moreover, I specialize in translating subtitles and providing for documentaries, series, and TV commercials. You may have come across my work on major platforms such as Warner, TNT, Paris Filmes, Netflix, CBS, HBO Plus, and others.
