I am, Anand from India, having a good exposure of workday Core HCM along with working understanding in Benefits, Absence Management, Workday Report Writer, Core Compensation, Security Configuration, Business Process Management, Calculated Fields and EIB Integration.
I have done a certification as well from workday for “Workday HCM” (Credential ID 23WKD009).
My day-to-day activities involve - connecting with stakeholders of (US, UK, Poland, India, Australia & New Zealand in regard to business requirements either to be maintained or configure from scratch.
Below are the tasks, process wherein I am occupied on daily basis.
• Putting in timely changes in HR business processes including preparing/amending Guidance Documents, Hire to Retire/Termination, Change Job Events, Absence Management, Job Requisition, Supervisory Organization, Performance Management & Goal Settings, Compensation & One Time Payment update and correction etc in HCM.
• Time off & Absence –Gather details from stakeholders, design, develop & testing the scenarios and create the absence plans per the policy drafted by HRBPs. Add or remove the eligibility rules with regards to location & worker type. Create new snapshot or amend the existing with new conditions as the case may be.
• Add or update the holiday calendar and period schedules for all the related entities in the organization. Liaises with PMO team to test the integration of leave plans created into connected portals.
• Configure or amend business process, change the absence eligibility rules based on location & worker type, create job profiles / Job Families, JRs & Positions create & maintain management level per request from HR partners / Stake holders.
• Integration - Core Connectors - Benefits & Worker Data & EIB – Inbound & Outbound.
• Organization Management in Workday HCM – Create Supervisory Organization, assign superior/subordinate and divide SupOrgs, assign roles to the SupOrgs. Edit the supervisory organizations to make active/inactive. Processing Move workers by Superorgs & Move workers by Organisations events to align correct reporting structure.
• Designed and conducted process training modules in different capabilities in dealing with complex HR administrative duties: including Workday workshop organising for managers/ employees, creating ad hoc/ custom/ routine Workday reports to support stakeholder’s groups.
• Report Writer & Calculated Fields – Create Standard and Custom Reports (Advance, Matrix, Search). Maintain various types of CFs like IDD, LRV, Evaluate Expression, Arithmetic Calculations, Convert Currency, Extract Single Instance & Extract Multi Instance, CRI, T/F Conditions & its usage in BPs, time off eligibility rules and to create reports with multiple BOs or by adding related BO to get the expected results.
• Business Process Configurations – Manage BPs by copying the default definition or amending the company’s current functional setup for different processes. Tailoring the BPs in order to avoid unnecessary approving events to reduce the time & and improve the transparency in the transactions.
• Performance Management – Create and amend the employee performance cycle template on workday and add/update the conditions with regards to goal setting, checkins and other related instance based on the requirements. Launch & manage Calibrations.
• Talent Management – Maintain Career Preferences, Create & configure Competencies and Proficiency Rating Scale, Calibration Program.
• Guidance Part – Create and amend the 1 pager quick reference guides & detailed SOPs.
