Ana Filipa Malheiro Pereira

My name is Filipa and I finished my master’s in human resource management on the 19th of October. I am original from Portugal, but I decided I wanted to grow my international mindset and I opted to do my MSc in the UK. This international desire became very evident during this period and I set myself the goal, and the challenge, to work in a different country. Italy, and especially Milan, where I now live, conquered my heart. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and considering that I am not fluent in Italian, finding an HR job in Milan has been difficult, therefore I decided to start applying as a freelancer.

I am very passionate about HR, particularly the area of Leadership and Learning & Development, however, I have a deep interest to learn as much as I can about the different HR areas of performance, such as talent management, recruitment, employee relations, benefits and compensation, among others.

I am a young hard-working girl, known for being a fast-learner and very independent, but never afraid to ask for help. For me committed and proactivity towards the tasks I perform are key, and I bring innovation and a positive attitude to the workplace (even if it is online). I have great leadership and communication skills and I really enjoy working in teams and feel that I contribute to something greater.
