As an intern medical laboratory scientist, I learned firsthand the importance of attention to detail, documentation and reporting - skills that would be vital to my future career as a business leader. The skills I got from the internship propelled me to enroll again for a copywriting internship during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Immediately after graduation, I enrolled in a one-year compulsory national service. The program allowed me to teach sciences and mathematics to various high school classes. While on the program, I developed emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills, which have become invaluable today.

After my career had kicked off in earnest in 2009, I became PMP certified. As a managing partner in our project management consulting firm, I single-handedly developed a 400-plus page PMP exam prep training slide, delivering over 750 hours of training before moving into business development and operations in telecommunication.

I have trained, built, and led teams; managed large projects and helped businesses scale, raising a customer base by over 100,000 people and keeping revenue strong at over $5 million a year. Besides my practical experience, I hold a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, an MBA, and I am currently studying for my DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) in Technology Management.
