Summary
I am Alexander. I'm 27 years old and I work as a Senior User
Experience designer, specializing in Customer Experience and
Conversion rate optimization. I'm currently working and living out of
Oslo, Norway.
I love problem-solving, and UX design is a process of solving
problems. I like to think of myself as a Design Detective, getting
to the root cause of why people have certain feelings about your
product. It's not just what you do; it's also what you don't do.
As an 11-year-old, I already started programming my own websites
and programs for the PC game The Sims. Working closely with
Electronic Arts, I learned an incredible amount in development,
design, marketing, and my website ended up being the largest The
Sims website in Norway.
As a skilled entrepreneur, I've been able to use my creativity
and problem-solving skills in designing several products, both
physical and digital. In the past few years alone, I have started a
few companies including an online store for home decor along with
complex solutions for larger ERP markets - all of which have allowed
me to develop strong business acumen that can be applied across
various industries. Whether it's creating brands or working on design
projects from start to finish using new technologies like AR; you'll find
my professional approach is always endearing and effective as we
work together towards your goals.
I'm really passionate about UX design and I see it as a process of
problem-solving. The core for any conversion optimization campaign
is to understand the user's needs, desires, behaviors, motivations,
etc., which is why we start by conducting research - both qualitative
(interviews) and quantitative (analysis).

How I work as a Senior UX Designer
I do spend a lot of time researching, writing articles, and dive deep
into the world of user physiology. I'm always looking for the newest
and coolest tech to help me improve my work.
The perfect user experience is about empathy, not just
understanding what a person does or says but why they do it and
that's where I come in - as someone who can use this insight to
create effective content at every stage of the conversion funnel.
I am also very interested in psychology research which has helped
me better understand how people act within different contexts
with an effect on their decision-making process. You'll see many
references throughout my blog posts to various psychological
theories like behavioral economics, persuasion techniques, etc.
because these are fascinating topics for both UX design practitioners
and anyone curious about human behavior
