I've been with the BPO and VA industry combined for roughly 6 years. First, I started as a Market Research Interviewer in Survey Sampling International, where we call people in North America asking them to participate in our surveys. I worked there for a year and a half while I was studying in college.
Then, I transferred and pioneered as an email CSR in Alorica Phils. for a transportation company using Zendesk. I pride myself on having contributed greatly to the training manual as well as with templates used by CSRs in responding to tickets. Because of my familiarity with work, I was promoted to Team Manager. Several months after, I was assigned to be a Customer Experience Associate. One of my responsibilities would be assisting Trainers in facilitating a class or as a substitute if they're not available. But my main role would be to generate the Net Promoter scores or the overall satisfaction of customers to the CSRs - make it into a report and present it to the client.
I've also experienced working as a Virtual Assistant in Mr. Outsource. There, I have handled a total of 5 accounts. Some simultaneous and others as full-time. 3 of those are with Real Estate clients where I have worked as a bookkeeper, admin, transactions coordinator, and CSR. Another was with a technological firm as an all-rounder CSR. Lastly, as a Team Lead/QA for back-office work with a lending institution.
