I am Akolade Oladejo, one of eight children hailing from the western part of Nigeria. As the first son, a lot of responsibility falls on my shoulder, as it is customary. This has made me learn how to care and cater to people as I do with my siblings. In addition, Work ethic and teamwork is important for a big family to thrive. Learning these through my family development, father’s and mother’s businesses embedded the understanding of what it means to create and offer value to customers with empathy and Love.
In my previous role at Telus AI, I provided support to over customers daily by curating search data for Siri. At my most recent job as a Merchant risk specialist in Teleperformance, reviewing and analysing merchants for supportability is a daily dose. My ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and empathetically has not only improved customer satisfaction but also made me a better teammate. I am well-versed in Jira and have experience using ticketing systems like zendesk.I am also proficient with Google Sheets and honing my skills in SQL. Also, as a Risk specialist at Teleperformance, I analyze the merchants risk processing for a payment processor. I became an expert in the KYC on the merchant to the payment processor. I also have over 5 years experience as a business developer in Nigeria. Developing a farm to table business, developing a content reaction business and marketing software in this part of Africa.I worked as a Sales Manager for almost half a decade in the Hospitality industry. I also have worked with blockchain technology on the finance side. I was working for Polygon as a digital marketer and also helped multiple projects to develop their NFT projects.
Seeing or hearing customers express their joy of satisfaction, whenever I carefully described how they can solve their difficulties with software, data or products. This experience honed my ability to work under pressure and reinforced my commitment to delivering high-quality support.
