There, I had various jobs working as PC administrator or project manager. In 2002 I and my partner established graphic design company NN Studio which we had for almost 2 years. In 2004, I have moved to the United Kingdom where I work and studied continuously. There were numerous learning opportunities for me and it definitely gave me some challenges, but it mainly helped me to develop myself as a person from many different sides. Finally, I have qualified as Operating Theatre Practitioner in 2014 and I have been practicing this role since. However, I have quite recently decided to change my life, live more simply and more ecologically, closer to the nature and be the master of my own time. So I moved to Portugal, bought little farm and I am now looking for the opportunity to work from home. . Work History and Experience Operating Department Practitioner Yeovil District Hospital- Theatre Practitioner /ODP- Anaesthetic To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs ensuring high standards of evidence based care and be able to demonstrate clinical expertise in anaesthetic practice within the operating department and labour theatres To undertake all anaesthetic procedures and provide all care in accordance with Trust and theatre policies and ensure that these procedures and policies are understood and adhered to by all staff  To ensure accurate, legible and comprehensive nursing / theatre records, in all formats, are maintained using appropriate documentation and Surginet IT system in accordance with Trust and department policy and procedures To ensure communication with patients and significant others is established, ensuring empathy and reassurance regarding, assessment, care and treatment. Support effective working relations with all members of the multi-disciplinary team promoting good communication and a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Liaise with the Team Leader and Theatre Co-ordinator to ensure that patients are prepared for Theatre in reasonable time and are received in to the Theatre department adhering to the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist. Assist in the safe handling, transfer and positioning of patients between all areas of the theatre department; including complex cases & preparing & transporting portable monitoring equipment to assist with the transfer of patients to Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency Unit following anaesthetic intervention Reduce the risk of cross infection by observing departmental uniform policy, and maintaining at all times a clean working environment, decontamination and sterilisation procedures and asepsis. Liaise & communicate with other departments e.g. NHS logistics, Pharmacy, laboratory services, EBME, Sterile Services Unit. Ensure that all anaesthetic equipment is checked as suitable for use prior to each patients operation and all anaesthetic consumables are prepared and fit for use prior to each patients operation. Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary clinical practice, explore new ideas and introduce positive evidence-based change in line with local and national initiatives, e.g. Confidential Enquiries and NICE guidance and Association for Perioperative Practice (AfPP) guidelines. To support the Deputy Team Leader, Team leader and Matron in carrying out risk assessments according to Trust Clinical Governance/Clinical Risk Strategies. To work with the Team Leader and their deputies to ensure optimal use of the operating list in the speciality or specialty group. Theatre Support Worker Frimley Park Hospital NHS Trust - As part of the multidisciplinary team within the Operating Department this position played a vital role in the day to day operation and smooth running of the department. This was accomplished by provision of the highest possible standards of individualized patient care, housekeeping, portering and circulating duties. further, by creating a supportive and trusting environment by recognition of the need for and maintain confidentiality for both patients and staff. By providing patients' physical and emotional support throughout operative procedures by demonstrating effective communication and empathetic reassurance and awareness of patient positioning and pressure area care. By preparation of theatres for surgical procedures which entails cleaning, carrying out daily checks on equipment, ordering and gathering together all instrument sets and extras required for the cases and ensuring all table accessories and supports are available. By anticipating the needs of the surgeon and the scrub practitioner and responding to this. By completing swab, needle and instrument counts with the scrub practitioner and recording these by writing on the swab board and by entering data into the computer. By supporting the surgical team throughout operative procedures by remaining in theatre and ensuring requirements for extras and sundries are supplied as and when required. By supporting and reassuring patients' when they are undergoing procedures under Local Anaesthetic and when they are in either in Theatre Reception or the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit.
