Like so many others, I'm passionate about "changing the world", but unlike them, my passion for creating change comes from difficult childhood experiences where I had to struggle to get by. I always thought that it shouldn't be this hard - so I vowed to make a difference when I had the capacity to do so, so that no one else has to go through what I went through.
Fast forward a decade or two, and I'm knee-deep in a few different "fields", including working with both local and international non-profit organizations in various capacities, research institutions, health promotion, and administrative work. Ideally, I would love to work at a community research organization, where I can combine research, health promotion and non-profit program planning into one role.
To achieve this, I am currently doing my Masters in Public Health, with a specialization in Epidemiology online on a part-time basis so that I can continue to work on the front-line.
