Check the discrepancy report of rooms. Check the departure of the rooms. Supervise the cashiers at restaurants. Maintain the General Cashier Summary of the all outlets of the hotel. Maintain the inventory report of outlets of the hotel. Surprise cash count of any outlet of hotel. Surprise count of persons in any event and see the bill was made according to accounting or not. Check the Menu Sheet and see physically the menu was served by F & B as per sheet or not. Faletti’s Group of Hotels: Designation: Internal Auditor (Working period 01 Year) 01-year experience of Internal auditor in supervising various hotel departments i.e., front office department, purchase department, food & beverage department, finance department and human resource department in Faletti’s Grand Hotel Gulberg III Lahore. My responsibilities regarding these departments are given below: Front Office: Verify the daily revenue generated from rooms. Check the status of rooms physically. Check the status of rooms by comparing the housekeeping sheet and front office systematic sheet. Check the departure of rooms. Verify the Special room rates given by any HOD or General Manger. Check the low rates of rooms and see the signed approval of General Manager against these low rates. Purchase Department: All purchase request generated from different departments of hotel check on daily basis. Check the purchase order made by purchase department. See last purchase price of goods purchase by hotel. Select the most economical prices of goods and then signed the purchase request. Check the remaining stock of concern items physically then verify the purchase request. Avoid to purchase high costing goods if economical rate is available in same quality. Restaurant: Check the reservation of all meal periods. Count the persons physically and check the bill as per counting. Check the rate of buffet and check the items of food in buffet for costing purpose. Check the quality of food at Restaurant. Verify the reason of all officer/entertainment checks. Check all the bills of restaurant and discount given on these bills. Banquets: All events held at different venues check by physically. Count the number of persons in accordance with event sheet. Check the buffet dishes and compare with rates given in event sheet. If any other equipment of hotel used in event like multimedia, internet & mics then verify the revenue of these items. For Controlling the leakage of revenue check all the venues of hotel physically. Finance Department: Supervise the income auditor and night auditor. Supervise the Cashier’s in Restaurant Maintain the daily receivables/aging report of hotel. Check the bank deposit slips physically of any amount surprisingly which is receive by credit manager form different customers. Human Resources Department: Verify the salaries in accordance with bio matric attendance system. Verify the leaves of staff. Verify the medicals claim by staff. Verify the allowances given by hotel to different department head. SKILLS. Diploma in Microsoft Office (Ms. Excel, Ms. Word, Ms. PowerPoint) Familiar with Opera, Oracle, EMC, Symphony and Munshi 10 software’s. Public speaking skills. Good presentation skills.
