I am a full-time mother. I worked as an OR-PACU Nurse in a tertiary hospital for 12 years. My last three years were spent on managerial duties handling 50 staff in the department. As the person in charge of the area, my duties focused on overseeing unit-based operations:

• Managing Human Resources (staffing, staff scheduling, staff training, employee satisfaction)
• Managing finances (scheduled reporting of operating profit and expenses, acquisition of new equipment and machines, budgeting)
• Customer/patient-focused care delivery
• Ensuring standards of care - safety and quality
• Aligning unit's interests and resources with organizational goals

When I discovered that I can work online and still be with my kids, I enrolled and invested In an Amazon Masterclass to be an Amazon Virtual Assistant. The training covers the A-Z of Amazon.

The principles of being a Nurse and A VA are quite the same.
