MIBluBook – Mental health application for iOS built using React Native on the front-end. Backend was
developed using Prisma to create a GraphQL server. Authentication via Bcrypt. Utilized GraphQL Yoga for
programming business logic and Apollo for executing mutations and queries.
cryptme.co - Rails application that allows registered users to create custom text alerts for percentage-based
fluctuations in cryptocurrency value. Text-alerts set up via Twilio. Rake tasks automated with Heroku Scheduler.
Built with Ruby on Rails on the backend using PostgreSQL. AJAX is implemented to improve UX and optimize app
performance. Cryptocurrency values are pulled from CoinMarketBase API. Source code available on Github.
Vacation Planner - Incorporated Devise and Yelps Fusion API, designed with Bootstrap, and built back-end using
PostgreSQL and Rails. Source code available on Github.
Twitter clone- Implement TDD principles using the Minitest, Amazon Simple Storage Service, and encrypted via
SSL, user authentication with BCrypt coupled with ActionMailer, and front-end framework is Bootstrap and
back-end framework is Ruby on Rails with PostgreSQL. Source code available on Github.

Lead preventative health advocacy group focused on providing exercise and nutrition health services to
underserved communities of Sacramento and Davis; oversee actions of 14-member leadership committee and
over 50 additional Nutrition & Exercise undergraduates working on public health projects for elementary
students, senior citizens, and recovering addicts.
Develop lasting relationships with medical directors, faculty advisors, and healthcare professionals to provide
preventive health services in community; developed educational programs at the Opiate Recovery Program in
Sacramento, CommuniCare Health Centers in Davis, CSUS Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program, Oak Park
Family Nights, and the Oak Park Farmers Market.
Notable Achievements:
Spearheaded creation of 2 internships, leading interviews, application processing, and logistics; launched Davis
CommuniCare Health Center Internship allowing students to teach 8-week course on exercise and nutrition, and
Health Coach Project where undergraduates worked one on one with a patient to help them reach nutrition and
exercise goals.
