As a Finance & Accounting staff at the start of my career in International Care(A Non-Profit Organization), I was responsible for the preparation of financial statements monthly and annually. I also conduct audits in all offices for internal control purposes. in 2010 however, the organization revolutionized their products to impact more communities in the Philippines so, the management needed someone to oversee the monitoring and evaluation department. That time there's no one who is qualified other than me so the management asked me to spearhead the Metrics department. That was the turning point of my career that led to the NOW success of the organization. The main focus of that department is program monitoring and evaluation. We administer surveys to collect data and these data are used in program evaluation. During my time we administered surveys to 500 communities, 150 thousand individuals and collected 40 million data points. These data are now being used to improve the quality of programs in International Care to reach out more poor individual and impact their lives.
