I have nearly a decade of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial auditing across diverse industries. Throughout my career, I’ve developed expertise in database documentation, data processing, and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Power BI, Fathom, among other analytical platforms.

During my years in audit, I led various assurance projects for sectors including Retail & Consumer, Chemicals, Healthcare, Industrial Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Poultry & Agriculture, among others. My experience includes the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards, financial statement translations, and a wide range of audit-related activities.

In addition to my audit background, I spent a year in administrative support, where I managed billing, collections, and prepared weekly financial reports for executive review. Later, as a Financial Analyst for a real estate firm in California, I was responsible for analyzing financial statements for property acquisitions, preparing financial projections and stabilization plans, and overseeing accounts payable processes.

Over the years, I’ve also developed strong skills in managing large datasets, transforming data in Microsoft Excel, and building professional financial reports and presentations. I’m experienced with various accounting and bookkeeping platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and multiple ERP systems. I’m also proficient in collaborative tools like Google Workspace, Asana, and Slack, and regularly incorporate AI tools to enhance reporting, streamline analysis, and support day-to-day operations.

With a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle and a global mindset, I stay current with evolving standards, methodologies, and technologies to improve both accuracy and efficiency in my work.

Having gained this broad and hands-on experience, I am now taking the next step in my professional journey by launching BY Finance Advisory & Consulting. Through this firm, I aim to help business owners and small businesses strengthen their financial foundations, improve processes, and make more informed decisions. I look forward to partnering with entrepreneurs who are ready to take control of their finances and grow with confidence.
