YOUAKIM SALIBA
PHD PHYSIOLOGY & PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
INTRODUCTION
My research revolves around
understanding the mechanisms
underlying the pathophysiology of
cardiac fibrosis and chronic kidney
disease in order to develop new
potential therapeutic strategies.
Studying
the
implication
of
intracellular calcium in diverse
cardiac and renal cellular functions
is
also
pivotal
along
with
developing animal models to study
human disease.
Author of over 40 articles in peerreviewed journals.
