Yonella Xawuka

I am a strong young woman. I am a Bachelor of Social Science Graduate who majored in African Languages and Literature and Politics and Governance at the University of Cape Town. I am currently doing an Honours degree in African Languages and Literature. I am passionate about teaching and tutoring. I have tutored isiXhosa for first years focusing on acquisition. I am currently tutoring a student who is in grade 11. I have taken on transcription and translation work from English to isiXhosa, on a small scale. I have also tutored English (TEFL) online, helping Asian students learn English. I am a person who has a willingness to learn and I apply myself at any given task. I am not afraid of learning and taking up new tasks. I am resilient, capable and I finish whatever I start.
