PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Financial Manager / HR Manager / Industrial Relations Manager Digital CCTV Solutions (Pty) Ltd / Myloflash (Pty) Ltd / Flolite Manufacturing December 2017 – September 2019 Role Information: The role is that of being multifaceted and flexible in where ever I was required. For Myloflash and Digital CCTV Solutions I have to be all 3 positions as it is 2 small installation businesses and a manufacturing entity. I was tasked to get the accounting procedures in place, ensure the business complied with statutory requirements, implement BCEA Requirements, Management of staff and provide training where required. The position is a demanding but rewarding position. Role Responsibilities: • • Manage 5 staff members from an HR, training and sales perspective, weekly on sales, monthly on HR. Implemented a web-based Accounting system for the business to comply with bookkeeping and regulation. • Daily bookkeeping of the 2 businesses. • Implementing a payroll system, manage and process leave, payslips etc. monthly. • Implement company policies, disciplinary code and attended CCMA meetings on behalf of the company. • Liaised with Labour Relations companies to assist with CCMA cases or where ever there was a staff issue. • Did Debtors and Creditor follow ups on a monthly basis. • Applied for finance where the business required it. • Formulated Business Plans and Strategies for the businesses annually. • Ensured that annual financials where done by the Accountants for the businesses. • Trained sales staff on how to cold call and also relationship management. • Maintained relationships with staff and assisted with growth opportunities for them based on their skills sets and interests. Also provided informal training in terms of growth areas. • Resolved staff conflict within the business by applying company policies and procedures (grievance procedure). Product Manager First National Bank September 2016 – December 2017 The role allowed me to assist sales staff in performing their functions smoothly by assisting them on system related queries where access has been revoked. Ensured the department GL was revised daily to ensure no unnecessary costs were charged to the cost centres. Expanded awareness of the Selective Invoice Discounting product by training branch staff on the product. I was basically a support to the Regional Sales staff as well as Regional Sales Director of Debtor Finance. Role Responsibilities: • • • • • • • • • Minutes of Meetings for Sales Director twice a month. Scheduling meetings, booking boardrooms, drafting agendas for meetings for the Sales Director. Revising cost centre GL’S for Debtor Finance to ensure costs are correct and no wastage of money daily. Ensuring revoked Digi tags were re-set. Reset systems access if a staff member was revoked. Assisted Sales staff from any other access related queries. Created and Managed a pipeline system for the sales staff electronically every week. Provided Training to Branch Sales Staff, RM’S, CPE’s ad CPA’s, AE’s and AEA’s on Selective Invoice Discounting at least 4 times a month, once a week to different units. Maintained a Balanced Scorecard with KPA’s and KPI’s and monitored my own performance against strict budgets. Debtor Finance Product Specialist First National Bank July 2014 – September 2016 Role Responsibilities: • • • • • • • • • Selling Debtor Finance and Selective Invoice Discounting to customers on a daily basis 3 appointments on average per day. Compiling a Credit Application with supporting documentation Signing security documents with customers having legal knowledge of the terms and conditions. Implementing Deals and Transaction for payout to customers. Increasing my lending book on Debtor Finance and SID Providing external and internal client service support Training Customers and Portfolio Managers on the Debtor Finance and SID Products, 15 per division at least, 4 times per month. Relationship management on a portfolio of 2000 customers ensuring good communication between the Bank and clients and assisting with all customer requirements, and were solution driven. Maintained a Balanced Scorecard with KPA’s and KPI’s and monitored my own performance against strict budgets. Business Manager First National Bank June 2012 - July 2014 Was ‘n Business Manager for 2 FNB Branches based in the East of Pretoria namely Woodlands Boulevard and Olympus Plaza branch. Had to service in excess of 2000 clients with Business Banking needs. Assisted SMME’s in applying and providing of Overdrafts, Credit Cards and additional value added products. Built long term relationships and report with clients. Serviced internal and external customers and provided the best service possible. Reported to Management on a monthly basis on branch performances and queries. It was a very rewarding position knowing I could assist SMME’s financially.
