Yohanan Solomon

I’m a full-stack developer with a growing specialization in AI-powered backend systems, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), automation workflows with n8n, and scalable Node.js/Express services. I enjoy building practical applications where AI features integrate naturally into real-world workflows rather than existing as isolated demos.

While I have strong experience with Next.js, Supabase, and the MERN stack, my main focus is increasingly on backend architecture and AI integration — designing APIs, orchestrating services, and containerizing applications with Docker to ensure reliability and scalability. I’m especially interested in server-first and AI-augmented architectures that simplify complex business processes.

On the frontend, I use React/Next.js with Tailwind CSS to create clean, responsive interfaces, but I’m most comfortable working on the backend — implementing secure APIs, managing data flows, and connecting AI or automation layers to production systems. I also build automation pipelines with n8n to reduce manual operations and connect services efficiently.

My portfolio includes projects such as:

• Addis Spare Parts — a multi-role spare-parts and insurance workflow platform with proforma requests, hierarchical product management, and integrated payment processing.
• AI Business Feasibility Analyzer — a Next.js + AI application using RAG techniques to generate realistic business viability assessments.
• AI Health Assistant — an AI-integrated web system providing health guidance, location services, and conversational support via a Node.js/Express backend.
• Cloud-Integrated Music Platform — a full-stack streaming app with Cloudinary media handling and Redux-Saga state orchestration.

These projects strengthened my ability to design end-to-end systems that combine backend logic, AI capabilities, and user-facing applications.
