● Co-wrote and published a paper with Prof. Ben Golub (Northwestern, formerly at Harvard) on supply-chain fragility for
the leading journal for bringing research to a business and policy audience (Brookings Papers in Economic Activity).
● Python, MATLAB, Stata and R: Conduct numerical simulations and data analysis. Use machine learning techniques.
● Research and editorial project management, including on a study with A. Banerjee (2019 Nobel laureate, Economics).
● Manage the preparation of research summaries with an average audience of 50K-100K weekly active users.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT, INSTITUTE FOR FISCAL STUDIES

The IFS is the UK’s leading independent economics research institute.
● Studied the impact of a £10M pan-London violence prevention project, in collaboration with Prof. Imran Rasul (UCL).
● Drove a 712% participation increase in the study (from 42 to 341 signups) by using data analysis (Excel, Stata) and
findings from 30+ interviews: identified trends in recruitment and common issues, and made appropriate adjustments.
● Presented bi-weekly reports on the study’s progress to our funders (Home Office) and partner organisations.
● Leveraged complex statistical methods to assess the validity of the surveys used in the study.
● Wrote the literature review (screened 200+ papers). Presented the main findings to the IFS’ Skills department.
INTERN, MINISTRY OF FINANCE, GOVERNMENT OF ANDORRA

● Analysed 4.7 billion EUR worth of transactions between Andorra and the rest of the world - the totality of economic flows
that crossed the Andorran border in 2019. Identified trends and their implications for Andorra’s economy.
● Authored Andorra's first-ever Balance of Payments report. Closely collaborated with the IMF’s European Department
through frequent meetings and email correspondence.

● Led a successful fencing team (1st place at Regionals, 3rd place at Nationals) for four years as team captain.
