Foster and coordinate new ideas and concepts to improve sustainability programming themes and identify materials and resources to expand or replace existing sustainability programs.

Description and Accomplishments
Oversaw weekend and holiday operations of an 18-screen multiplex, typically serving over 10,000 patrons and generating $100,000 of revenue per week during my shifts.
Consolidated two vacated management positions to include all in-house human resources activities, including employee scheduling, training, incentive programs, meetings, hiring, discipline, evaluations, and payroll for a staff of 50-70 employees.
Created new employee evaluations, weekly maintenance lists, training guides, perpetual concession inventory system, and several administrative tools for implementation in regular management practice.
Conducted management-level training for corporate office, including temporary relocating to Council Bluffs, IA to rebuild their management team and to open a new location in Dubuque, IA.
Guided staff and management transition to policies and practices of new ownership.
Progression: Promoted from Assistant Manager to House Manager in September 2002.

Description and Accomplishments
Regularly handled large amounts of revenue generated during shift without major error while effectively leading and directly supervising job duties of general staff.
Served as primary Assistant Manager for all weekend concession stand operations.
Designed and implemented daily and weekly cleaning schedule and coordinated yearly inspection cleaning to maintain facility to the highest standard.
Developed the new Service Specialist position with the management team to fill a supervisory need and continued to refine the position for adoption company-wide.
Progression: Promoted to Service Specialist in June 1997 and Assistant Manager in September 1997.

Dennis Hassler Award for Outstanding Writing, 2008: given to best student research paper in Sociology Department from previous two years.
