responsible for the compilation and management of our department’s maintenance term
tender contracts.
Main Accountabilities:
Chairman of Bid Specification and Evaluation Committees.
Ensuring that these committees are properly constituted.
Fostering an excellent/healthy working relationship with the City’s Supply Chain
Management Department as well as the Roads industry.

I shared duties with the Principal Highways Engineer by managing the Planned Works

Being responsible for the tendering and overseeing of the borough’s resurfacing program

106 contracts

Personal Achievements:
London Borough of Lambeth received a Highly Commended GO (Government
Opportunity) award for the category Best Service Award 2008 for the Highways Service
Contract which I compiled.
London Borough of Lambeth together with Cross River Partnership received an award for
Best Project Collaboration which symbolises the co-ordination of a diverse range of
project stakeholders on a 3 million pound project. My role on this project was Project
Manager / Resident Engineer. This project also won the INTEREG award of excellence
which was presented by the European Union in recognition of urban realm improvements
in linking routes to the high speed realm network.
While employment with Mouchel Parkman Consultancy was recognised for the Quarterly
Award under The Dolphin Award Scheme. This award recognises and wards staff for
either consistent excellent performance or personal behaviour or endeavours over and
above those normally required with an individual’s role.
