Wasim Ahmed Ansari

Wasim is currently a Vice President with Citibank in the Capital Markets domain focusing on Global Reconciliations based out of Mississauga, Canada.

Previously, Wasim was with TCS Canada working on Regulatory Projects in identification and mitigation of Trade Life Cycle activity gaps. His area of focus were UK Legal Entity Vehicles with exposure to Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Commodities, Futures, Margin Operations, Cash Treasury, Prime Brokerage and Syndicates

As a PMP Certified Operations Manager, Wasim has worked with a team of 100+ Amazonians to help Amazon be the "Most Customer Focussed Organisation" in the world. He managed Import Trade Compliance for Canada, Mexico and Brazil Marketplaces in the domain of Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).

Wasim started his professional journey at Infosys in 2010 where he worked for more than a decade and last held the role of Head of Client Operations for a Global Custodian and an Asset Manager managing complex, diverse and domain intensive functions. His expertise in Financial Reporting, Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Accounts Payable - Controllers, Reference Data Management, Trade Management and Corporate Actions helped him work through Trade Lifecycle.

He also closely worked with the Solutions Designing and Pre Sales team as a Senior Domain Consultant to help clients achieve strategic goals by implementing process improvements, automation benefits, meet their compliance requirements, complete end-to-end system migrations and facilitate change management.
