Warren Martin

I am Warren Martin, a recent Film and Media Production Bachelor’s degree graduate at

Arizona State University. I have advanced level skills in all relevant NLE programs including: Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro 7/X, and many others. 

Currently, I work for Arizona State University as a Multimedia Specialist, where I work in person and remotely with the director of research and development to create online content for teachers and students worldwide. My day to day duties include:

• Producing and editing videos in English and Albanian
• Optimize and re-cut image and video files by identifying clips, editing and encoding videos and pulling screen grabs.
• Use InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create design ideas.
• Setup technical details of over 20 sets, including lighting and sound.
• Produced original video content by working collaboratively with producers, designers and art specialists.
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to edit footage/
• Pitch content strategies.
• Train new members of the team to abide by Arizona State University branding regulations

Additionally, I've worked with Mar Vista Entertainment's VP of post-production as a Post-production intern. My day to day included:

• Assisting with post-prduction of video archives by scrubbing cataloging and organizing clips.
• Act as NLE program technician.
• Use Microsoft Excel to automate naming of files.
• Review and provide feedback to QC reports.
• Talk with industry producers, composers, and directors about artistic vision.
• Provide feedback for spotting sessions for Netflix, Technicolor, and Disney.
• Onset assistant videographer for promotional events

Furthermore, as a Junior and senior at Arizona State University, I've edited 6 short films; one of which I co-wrote with the director. I can provide link if necessary as the directors want to do festival runs and don't want to spread the footage around.
