I’m a graduate of the University of the Philippines – Los Baños with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry (2024) and currently pursuing my Master’s in Environmental Science at SESAM-UPLB. My academic and research background centers on ecological restoration, climate change, and sustainable development.
My undergraduate thesis focused on plant responses to copper-contaminated soil, sparking my interest in using science to solve real-world environmental problems. Since graduating, I’ve worked as a biodiversity consultant on various infrastructure and renewable energy projects—including the San Juanico Bridge 2, a floating solar project in Mapanuepe Lake, and the Jalaur Flood Diversion Project. I’ve contributed to EIA reports, tree inventories, and environmental assessments.
I also worked with BioPower Inc. and served as a research assistant for a PETRON Corp.-funded study on mangrove ecosystems, which deepened my understanding of how science, community needs, and policy intersect.
Currently, my graduate studies focus on climate change impacts on marine and agricultural systems—areas I’m passionate about addressing through sustainable, inclusive solutions. I’m also an active member of environmental student organizations, where I’ve held roles in design, publicity, and community affairs, helping make environmental science more engaging and accessible.
