DR. VLADIMIR ZHEREBOV
Vladimir Zherebov holds a PhD in Eastern European Studies from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). Vladimir
Zherebov worked at the Department of Eastern European studies of KU Leuven. In 2019 he became the head of the CIS
expert group at the Brussels Diplomatic Academy (VUB) and the same year was headhunted by the College of Europe to
become a visiting professor at the department of International Relations and Diplomacy. Besides his teaching and
academic duties, he provides expert analysis and advice regarding CIS-related topics such as international relations,
trade, policy and culture as an independent consultant. He maintains his ties to KU Leuven as a voluntary researcher at
the Department of Cultural Studies. He is the author of various academic and popular publications on CIS, Geopolitics
and Cultural Studies and a frequent guest speaker at public events on his expertise.
