Tool doesn’t assume huge technical capacity of the user and is coded to perform the task as per user input/choice. Computer Details This button pulls out basic hardware details of the local computer & displays the information in the result area (Border Line) underneath those buttons. Information displayed can be copied to the clipboard. Clear Temp Files This button is hard coded to clean-up temporary files on Windows 7 & Windows 10 machine to improve system performance. Tool will skip clean-up if a specific directory isn’t found. Directories coded are: AppData\Local\Temp  AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files 3 Self Help PC Tool Read Me File     AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache WINDOWS\prefetch WINDOWS\Temp Clear Cookies This button is hard coded to clean-up temporary internet files on Windows 7 & Windows 10 machine to improve browsing performance. Tool will skip clean-up if a specific directory isn’t found. Directories coded are: AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache  Default Temporary Internet Files directory & Cookies Map Network Drive This button would prompt user for the Drive Letter they would like the share to be mapped to & the network share path. Application is coded to map the network drive as per user input. Install Network Printer This button is designed to map network printer for a user based on user input. Application will prompt user for the Printer name & Print Share Path. Provided the inputs are correct, application would map the network printer for the user. WMI Repair This button is designed to trigger another script within to start WMI Repair on the machine. Application assumes sufficient user rights to run the repair. In case if user doesn’t have sufficient right on the local machine, repair might fail. CM12 Client Repair 4 Self Help PC Tool Read Me File This is a most common issue among a large group of enterprise users where CM12 Client goes corrupt and doesn’t report to site server. Clicking on this button would trigger a repair on the local pc. Repair outcome would be displayed in the Result area within application. Initiate CM12 Action It may so happen that a computer is delayed to receive a program even if deployment is made long time back or the computer doesn’t send the hardware or the software inventory properly. This button will trigger all the action item available in CM12 Applet Manager. User Profile Backup This button is coded to take current user profile back for specific folder known to be storing user’s personal data. This is helpful in case of an interim backup or during PC Refresh/Migration. Solution is successfully tested on Windows 10 machine. Note: - Only Specific Folders under current user profile will be backed up to the designated directory as entered by the user. Directory includes:          Favorites Pictures Contacts Documents Downloads Desktop Music Videos OneDrive Saved Games Launch VPN Client Since author has known a large group of enterprise user’s using Cisco any connect VPN Client, application is hard coded to check & launch the application if installed.
