I have over seven years experience working in the finance department of private limited companies, grant funded companies. the experience helped me in shaping my budgeting skills, budgeting and budgetary control. the level of accountability required in a grant funded organisation has also sharpened my skills in decision making and my attention to detail. Preparation of statutory financial reports has also enhanced my understanding of the Accounting standards both IPSAS and IFRS as i have implemented both in preparation of financial statements. i also worked in an interactive environment where the teams would be as big as 10 people being the leader of such a group has greatly increased my interpersonal and leadership skills.
