PROJECT DETAILS Project Taken in Bachelor Degree (Jan ’15 – Mar ’15) JIGS AND FIXTURES Team Size – 4 Members This project of ‘Modern Fixtures Concept and Designing’ was given by India’s leading pump and motor manufacturers namely ‘C.R.I Pumps Private Limited, Coimbatore.’ This project after completion has helped them to increase the production of some specific components through time-saving activities and less reduction rate. Being a skilled process activity, this fixture design has dropped the skill level from exceptional to easy, helped the operators to work directly, without any special trainings. These fixtures have designed in such a way that these can be used both in HMC and VMC. Finally, it is easy to handle. Also, comparing other modern fixtures, cost of manufacturing is low.
