● Manage a volunteer staff of over 1,000 to provide a range of Red Cross services including emergency assistance for
victims of disaster, emergency preparedness education for youth and adults, and community outreach.
● Served as a Logistics Manager in Puerto Rico during the relief operation post-Hurricane Maria, managing all nine of
the Red Cross warehouses across the island, facilities agreements, and requisitions.
● Build local capacity to respond to disasters by creating and fostering relationships with government agencies,
nonprofits, and faith-based groups in Indianapolis and the surrounding seven counties.
● Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and a variety of Red Cross-specific platforms and databases to develop
reports, manage event calendars, and track volunteer and client data.

● Administered emergency relief locally and on national deployments by providing clients with Red Cross financial
assistance, FEMA application guidance, and referrals to community agencies during home visits and by phone.
